Father’s Day Breakfast
The Father’s Day brekky hit the spot with rolls from the BBQ and hot drinks. They went down a treat! A big thank you to all the volunteer crew for all your efforts and Raf’s coffee van for making this a great morning, enjoyed by all!
Book Fair
The Scholastic Book Fair was a great success, with both afternoons having long queues out the library door and spilling outside. Even the cold wet weather didn’t deter our bookworms. The PFA would like to thank our school community for stimulating $700 worth of literacy resources for the library and classrooms, but also for keeping the children excited about all things books!
Mango Drive
The always-popular annual mango drive is coming soon! Full trays of approx 7kg of deliciousness! Orders can be placed via Qkr during the first two weeks of Term 4, and delivery is expected late Nov/early Dec. Check with your neighbours/family now to see if they wish to order through you!
Carlsruhe Fair 2026
The Carlsruhe Fair will be happening on Saturday November 14th, 2026, and will be coordinated by a terrific team of four parents who have stepped up as joint coordinators. Thank you, team! Keep your eye out later in the year for a callout for parents keen to join the committee and help out.
WPS Parents and Friends Association (PFA) Monthly Meeting
Calling all families - we would love to welcome you to our Parents and Friends group. We are a friendly bunch of parents who meet monthly to arrange school fundraising activities and social events.
Our next meeting is on Tuesday 7th October at 7.30pm, at Holgates Brewery. Come along and help us plan some fantastic events for the rest of the 2025 school year. The only thing you need is a willingness to help out our school community.
