PARENT PAYMENT CONTRIBUTIONS – Thank you & update..
Thank you to those families who have already made a contribution to one of the suggested Parent Payment areas. All contributions are incredibly important to the daily operations and continued long term improvement of our school.
Parent contributions to one of the areas listed below, enable us to provide high quality teaching and learning programs and resources to support your children’s education, over and above the government funding we receive.
Bookpack
Carlsruhe Bus
School Improvement Fund
Building and/or Library Fund
These contributions also allow/help us to cover the cost of all student and classroom stationery and materials, fund resources for literacy and numeracy (readers and maths equipment), support our specialist programs and provide enriching whole school activities and opportunities.
These are the projects we have recently funded utilising voluntary contributions:
Rotunda
RSL Memorial Garden
Reverse Cycle Air Conditioners in classrooms
Carlsruhe Storage Container
Wheelers ePlatform for decodable & eReaders
Playclub and Lunchtime clubs
All payments to any of the listed areas can be made via QKR or at the school office.
Thank you for your support.
LEAVING WOODEND PS, OR HAVE A CHILD TO ENROL?
If you have a child starting school in 2026 and have NOT COMPLETED AN ENROLMENT FORM, please contact the office as a matter of urgency.
If your child is NOT returning to Woodend Primary School in 2026, we ask you to contact Elissa Campbell via email elissa.campbell@education.vic.gov.au or provide written notice as soon as possible.
It is essential we have accurate enrolment numbers, as this determines the number of staff we employ, class sizes and number of classes.
LOST PROPERTY
Parents, please ask your child(ren) to check the Lost Property area (opposite the office) from time to time for any items (possibly) missing. If items of clothing etc are named then they will be placed in classroom tubs to be returned asap, unfortunately if not, they end up here where they are periodically either disposed of, used as 2nd hand emergency wear or donated to the local charity shop.
