Today is RUok? day!

All students participated in an activity in class today:

Year Preps wrote and drew about being a good friend

Year 1/2s designed a comic strip to show how to be a good friend or how to have an RUok? conversation using ALEC (Ask RUok?, Listen, Encourage action, Check in) as a framework

Year 3s created an acrostic about what makes a ‘good friend’

Year 4s investigated the keys to being a good friend

Year 5/6s brainstormed personal ways to ask RUok?

All of our students participated in active discussions about the importance of checking in with our friends and noticing if someone looks sad or uncomfortable.
