Learning and Curriculum Primary - Stage 3

Gifted Awareness Week

Gifted Awareness Week aims to raise awareness of the identification, support, learning, and wellbeing needs of gifted children. It also aims to celebrate the dedication of individuals and educational bodies such as the Australian Association for the Education of the Gifted and Talented (AAEGT) who are making a positive difference in the lives of gifted children and their families.

This year, Gifted Awareness Week is celebrated between 18 – 24 May. In Stage 3, we are fortunate enough to have dedicated programs, structures, and professional development opportunities for all staff to cater for all students and continue to provide opportunities such as the Da Vinci Decathlon which our students will participate in this week at Knox Grammar. You will find further information about giftedness and the week itself here.
