Sustainability 

Students have engaged in three different projects within the Sustainability program. They have rotated through the projects throughout the term in three week cycles. 

The projects have consisted of; 

• Building natural Aquatic Plan rafts to improve the water quality of the Mullinmur Billabong. 
• Monitoring, maintaining and installing nesting Boxes to increase biodiversity within the Mullinmur area.
• Investigation of threats to the turtle population within the Mullinmur Billabong. Data collected will be communicated to the Million Turtles Program.

The students have all enjoyed participating in the activities and have furthered their knowledge of the biodiversity within the Mullinmur and why it is important to assist in this vital projects to help ensure the eco systems within the Mullinmur Billabong.
