Family and Faith
News from our Family Educator - Ms Tracey Bowler
You are kindly invited to attend the next Family Mass to be held on Saturday, 4th November at 5.30pm at Our Lady of Fatima Church.
This is a celebration to welcome Kindergarten 2024 families to the Parish school community and an opportunity to show your support and share your faith at Mass.
Year 5 students and families are invited to volunteer for the Mass readings and prayers and also hand out prayer packs to the Kindy 2024 children after Holy Communion. As Year 5 students will be their buddies next year it would be wonderful for all students to attend.
Year 4 students and families are invited to sing in the choir with Mrs Mai and family.
Year 1 students and families are invited to welcome the Kinder families and parishioners into the Church and hand out the Parish bulletin.
*Please email me by Friday 20th October if you would like to
volunteer to be an active member for the Mass.

The Gingerbread House Making Night has been organised for parents and carers (adults only) on Wednesday 29th November from 6pm to 8pm in Keller Hall. Please email me your interest for either attending an adults only night at the Hall or a take home kit as I have ordered 50 kits so it will be first in first served! Each kit costs $40 and includes the house kit, board, icing bag, ribbon, cellophane and a prayer card.
An order form will be issued Week 2 Term 4, but secure your early bird order with an email to me ASAP.
I’m on Long Service Leave at the moment to visit the Vatican City where our Holy Father Pope Francis resides and the sacred site of Međugorje which is a town in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Međugorje has been an unofficial place of Catholic pilgrimage since the Virgin Mary appeared on Apparition Hill in 1981. I’m looking forward to seeing the “Queen of Peace” statue marking the site of the 1st apparition and the one in front of the St. James Church.
The Vatican City
Please keep me in your prayers!
