MacKillop Athletics Championships

The MacKillop Athletics Championships were held on Monday 18th September at Homebush. The boys and girls braved the heat and ran their best against other Sydney Catholic Schools students from around New South Wales. It is a huge achievement to make it this far and we are very proud of all the students at our school that competed at these championships! A special mention goes to the Junior Girls Relay team who again broke the record in their event. This record has been standing for the past 12 years!

We are very proud to announce that the following athletes have been selected to represent MacKillop at the NSW PSSA Athletics Championships next term in the following events:

Alana G: 1500m, 800m and Junior Girls Relay

Anson V: Long Jump and High Jump

Chelsea G: 1500m

Estelle R: Junior Girls Relay

Mia B: 100m and Junior Girls Relay

Rory P: Senior Boys Relay

Spencer M: Senior Boys Relay

Victoria T: Junior Girls Relay

Zac B: Senior Boys Relay

Jump Rope For Heart

Thank you to ALL the students, parents and teachers who got involved with Jump Rope for Heart! Together our school community raised an incredible $17,190 for the Heart Foundation and this money will all go towards vital heart research and education programs.
