Can you help cater the wonder art exhibition?

For the first time Blackfriars Priory School has been included in DREAMBIG ART FESTIVAL

This year we are CATERING the event at PROSPECT GALLERY and we are seeking your help!

Could you make a batch of biscuits that represent a culture here at Blackfriars?

The exhibition is about diversity and identity and we are hoping to share our unique community with the food & art that we offer at the event.

BISCUITS ARE REQUIRED ON WEDNESDAY 15 MAY

The Wonder Exhibition will be launched on 16 May at 6:00pm, and all members of the community are welcome to attend. Details confirming if your son’s artwork has been chosen to be exhibited will be sent via email. The biscuits would be a donation towards the event’s catering.

The ART CLUB will be asked to attend the evening and serve the food and drinks. The ART CLUB will make the flag to represent the country of origin and if you could please leave us with a list of ingredients to alert dietary considerations to members of the public.

Your support is greatly appreciated, and I hope we can work together to make this event extra special. Donations can be left with class teachers no later than Wednesday 15 May.

WONDER – WE ALL EAT CAKE : World Premiere

An exhibition examining how children see themselves and others, celebrating our difference and commonality.

Wonder is an art exhibition by primary school students exploring their thoughts around the concept of “how other people see me”.

Curious about others, children often wonder if others are curious about them - what do others think about me? My clothes, my food, my music, my hobbies, my traditions and my family? Is it the same as the way I see or think about myself?

Wonder is an important reminder that while we may look and behave differently, we all eat cake!

Featuring the work of students from local Prospect Primary Schools: Blackfriars Priory School ELC–6, Prospect Primary, Prospect North Primary and Nailsworth Primary.
