Library News

Well we are almost at the end of what has been a busy first term for everyone, especially us newies!

It has been a good term, establishing routines and patterns, and getting to know students and staff who are regular library users. It has been lovely working in a library that is well used and is hub for learning, study and recreation.

Ms Kirsty Adderley is currently on leave for two weeks, and we welcome her replacement, Ms Julia Norman, for the last two weeks of this term. Ms Norman will be here for the first 4 weeks of Term 2 as well as she will be filling in for Ms Haskey who will be on leave then.

There has been a change to the way Scholastic Book Club items are to be ordered. Parents/guardians should be aware that from now on we are asking that all Book Club items be ordered and paid for online from home. The library will still receive the books and distribute them as per normal via Home Group Teachers. Please contact me if you need any more information about this.

Finally, as we prepare for the end of the term, can I ask that students please try and make sure all overdue books are returned, and items that are needed over the holidays are renewed if required. Also, please be aware that both the Primary and Senior Library will be closing at 3:30pm on the last day of the term, Friday 12 April.
