Mathematics Competition

Mathematics Competition

Forty students across the Primary and Middle school were nominated or nominated themselves to do the Hamann School Mathematics Competition for Society of Petroleum Engineers. This competition focuses on students using their problem-solving skills to solve non-standard problems. Results will be back soon, and I hope that our students are as successful this year as they have been in the past.

Additionally, I would like to congratulate both Akshat Dev and Angelo Dela Cruz on their amazing results in the Kangourou sans Frontières competition.  Akshat achieved a Distinction, and Angelo achieved a high distinction. Amazing effort!

Stay tuned for more news on mathematics competitions as many of our students will be sitting the Computational and Algorithmic Thinking competition on the 2nd or April, followed by the Australian Mathematics Competition in August.
