HARMONY DAY

Harmony Day is coming up next Thursday 21st March, 2019.

To celebrate Australia’s multiculturalism, students at SFX will be involved in a variety of cultural activities and experiences throughout the day. This includes music, stories, sport, art, crafts and a very special dance incursion. We hope that through participation in these cultural activities, our students will have better understanding of living in harmony with people from different cultural backgrounds.

On Thursday 21st March, we would like all students come to school dressed in colours that are significant to a particular culture, or in a costume from a particular culture.

Unfortunately, due to the presence of allergies within the student population, food will not be served on this occasion. However, parents are welcome to provide their children with a special lunch that comes from a different culture.
