Year 7 and 8

A peek into the student lives of our year 7 and 8 students this term

Year 8 Japanese Pen-pal program📨

At the beginning of Term 3, Year 8 students have received replied letters from their pen-pal buddies at Nagano High School in Japan (our sibling school in Osaka, Japan). These letters were the reply to our letters that were sent to them earlier this year. Students were excited to read the letter, finding out their names, likes/dislikes and how they look!

Two of our lucky Year 8 students were able to meet their buddies in person, as their buddies (Koharu and Raimu) were the students among the exchange program. We look forward to send another letter to our buddies late this term again!

Year 7 Melbourne  Zoo Visit🐒

On July 24, our year 7’s travelled to Melbourne Zoo for a Science excursion. Students participated in a 45 min workshop and explored different areas of the Zoo. Students investigated a variety of organisms and ethical considerations to help with their Classifications Unit and Ethics Assessment. It was a great day of learning and fun. Thank you to the Science department for organising a great excursion and thank you to all the staff who helped at the zoo.
