Traineeships at Jump Swim Schools

We're currently recruiting Trainee/ Qualified swim teachers in preparation for our opening and would love to get the word out to your students. Swim teaching offers great flexibility, allowing students to work around their schedule. Prior experience and/or certification is a plus, but not required. We can provide support to applicants wishing to become qualified.


Park Orchards Christmas Market

 

We have over 50 stalls of fresh food, beautiful arts & crafts, great coffee, delicious food, live music, a magic show, balloon twisting and a friendly atmosphere! It’s sure to be a great day and a wonderful time to support small businesses, local community groups and to get some Christmas shopping done! 


Whitehorse Carols

Jingle your bells and fasten your antlers! Whitehorse Carols is serving up a feast of festivities for the family this Christmas. Meet us at Tunstall Park on Sunday 18 December and sing your way into the evening.

 

Headlining our Carols are the effervescent Melbourne Gospel Choir and supremely soulful Kylie Auldist, so come prepared for a dance on the grass!

 

Our full line-up brings something for everyone. From local acts (hello, Box Hill City Band!) to internationally renowned artists, we are celebrating Christmas in spectacular style. Kids’ entertainment act Celia & Friends are set to kick off the stage performances at 5.30pm, and keep a look out for Santa, rides, festivities and food trucks at the park from 4.30pm.

Location: Tunstall Park – rear of Nunawading Community Hub

Admission: Free

Parking: Street parking will be very limited. We suggest catching a ride with a friend, getting public transport, or riding your bike and locking it at the on-site bike stations. 

 

Accessibility: The concert is AUSLAN interpreted, with a dedicated viewing area and interpreters on the big screen throughout the show. For accessible parking and pathways to the event site, use the Springvale Road entrance to Nunawading Community Hub. Accessible toilets will be available; see the website for a detailed map.
