 Assistant Principal's Report

Welcome back to Term 3, how quickly is this year going!

As always, our afterschool program is happening this Term. It has been refined this term to support staffing, so we will be running the very popular Volleyball Club on a Tuesday night and Cooking Club on a Wednesday night. Both sessions take place from 3:20pm - 4:20pm . We still have some spots in both programs.  Please see Ms. Sandlant if you would like to join.

In my last update I mentioned the latest Engagement Program, Roller skating sessions, that took place in the last week on school. Students from each year levels had the opportunity to “opt in” to a free roller-skating session with Victoria from The Skate Studio. The program ran over two days, where the gym was taken over by our keen participants, who varied in skill levels, from the confident to those who were trying for the first time. It was a great time had by all and we look forward to having The Skate Studio back in the future.

This term we welcome back the “ In Harmony In League” program for our students. This program is run by the support of Melbourne Storm Rugby Club and aims to empower young people to be agents of change within their community. Sessions run for 6 weeks and culminates in a “Gala Day.” I look forward to updating you on this program as the term continues.

Lastly, I would like to remind you of the Community update in this newsletter, there are many opportunities for you to “Get Involved” next term through our Community Hub. We look forward to seeing the new participants and welcoming back the regular attendees.
