Congratulations to Sandringham College alumni Sam Williamson on his silver medal for Australia in a personal best time of 26.97 in the 50m Breaststroke at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. Sam also won a bronze medal in the Men's 100m Breaststroke at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. Sam achieved personal best times in both of his individual events in making his first Australian Team.
Sam also swam in the heats of the 4 x 100m mixed and men’s medley relays. Australia went on to win Gold in the mixed medley relay, and Silver in the men’s relay final.
Sam graduated from Sandringham College in 2015, and is currently studying at Melbourne University
