The Addams Family - Rehearsals

College Production - The Addams Family

THE ADDAMS FAMILY

I would like to pass on my congratulations to the entire cast and crew of The Addams Family. What a privilege it was to be part of the development of this amazing show. What talented students we have, regardless of the role they played or task they completed to make the show such a huge success.

We are also so lucky to have amazing Alumni who contribute their expertise by giving up endless hours of their time to our College to help make our productions so successful. Whether it be the incredible lighting and set engineering of Michael Eather, the expert sound mixing of Josh Bourke, the assistance of Shaun on sound, members of the band such as Declan Farr or the invisible but incredible work of Aaran Bell who wires and rewires our electrics to allow us to run such a professional show, we are so lucky to have their support.

But of course, the show wouldn’t go on without the dedication, vision and drive of our Performing Arts staff, particularly Laura Washington, Prue Slingsby, Tim Clifton, Luke Devenish, Fiona Bechtold and Heather Fehring. A show like this takes more than a village to produce, but these inspirational people are the heartbeat of this production, which allows children of all ages, talents and needs to be part of this wonderful opportunity. We are so lucky to have such an amazing team!

SEVR Intermediate Bandfest

On August 11th, 9 members of the Sandringham Concert Band joined forces with 160+ other students from around the South East Victorian Region to participate in the Intermediate Band Festival. All the students had a massive day playing and recording the pieces that we started working on this semester.  Students worked with excellent conductors and band directors to improve their ensemble and music reading skills.
