Senior School Swimming Carnival

The Senior School Swimming Carnival will be conducted on Friday 14th February at the Faith Leech Aquatic Centre on Barnard Street.  

Students are requested to arrive at the pool between 8.15am - 8.30am. We anticipate the carnival will finish at 4.00pm. Parents will need to collect students from the pool. 

1) A bus will depart from Girton Gymnasium at 8.15am and 8.45am for students who normally ride, walk, catch a train or country bus to Girton and need transport to the pool.

2) A bus will be available to take these students back to Girton or to the train station at the completion of the carnival.

These buses will depart from the pool at approx. 4.15pm

     i) Bus to the station will arrive in time to catch the 4.43pm train.

    ii) Bus to Girton will arrive back at school at approximately 4.25pm 

Any students who wish to travel on these courtesy buses are required to sign their name on the list provided at either the Morey or Gymnasium Receptions.

Students are permitted to wear their correct House sports uniform to and from the pool.

The canteen is available, although it is recommended that students pack their lunch and drink bottle, plus hat and sunscreen.

All members of the Girton Community are welcome to attend this day.  The Spirit Cup will kick off the Swimming Carnival at 9.00am.
