Senior Boys Cricket

Monday 18 February

Congratulations and well done to the Senior Boys Cricket team who beat Emerald, to win the Yarra Division Senior Cricket 9/161 vs 8/141.

Liam Kay starred with the bat making 49, while Cayden Maki chipped in well with 35. Bailey White was the pick of the bowlers, taking 3 wickets for not many off 6 overs, while Beau Tennant, took 2 big wickets to help out.

The boys are now into the Region Finals on Tuesday 12 March.

Year 10 EIS Netball

The Year 10 EIS Netball girls have had a great start to the year. In our courtwork sessions, the girls have been focusing on footwork, general ball handling skills and preliminary attacking movements.

During our fitness sessions, the girls have been working on core stability exercises and Tabata training.

In the upcoming weeks the students will be going to Dynami Cardio Lilydale, to complete two sessions of Metafit training.

Last Friday at lunchtime, the girls played their first match against the staff. We had a great number of students come to support the game which was great! All EIS students gave their best effort and it was great to see some of our focus goals being put onto the court in match play.
