Music Performance
Music intervals (the distance between two notes), food/item party.
Students were required to find food or items, that represented Music intervals. Some clever items included; a watermelon in the shape of a shark to represent the sound of a minor 2nd (heard most commonly as the two notes in the theme from Jaws), as well as a cake, with an 8 and rainbow flavours, representing a perfect Octave (heard most commonly as the two notes in the song “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”.
Year 12 VCE
Music Performance
Group and Solo Performances on the PAC deck.
On Friday 15 February, students performed the first piece from their examination program to an audience of their peers and LHS staff at lunchtime. The sunshine made the instruments (and the students) shine!
The performances included a mixture of contrasting styled pieces - 'A Night in Tunisia', Willie Nelson’s 'Crazy' and Pink/Nate Reuss’s 'Just Give Me a Reason' to name a few.
