Music News at HCC

We were thrilled with the performances at the Soiree held on July 26. This Soiree showcased the astounding musical talent of over 30 Primary and Secondary students from our school. The event was a true celebration of music, as it brought together an array of talented pianists, cellists, drummers, guitarists, flautists, trombonist and vocalist.

The program featured a diverse repertoire of classical and contemporary pieces showcasing the versatility and dedication of our budding performers. Each act was met with appreciative applause and admiration from their peers, teachers, and parents in the audience.

The afternoon wouldn't have been complete without the exceptional hosting skills of our Arts Prefects, Hailey Senn and Luca Peterson. They kept the audience entertained throughout the entire event, ensuring smooth transitions between performances and adding a touch of professionalism to the afternoon.

Not only did the Musical Soiree allow our students to demonstrate their musical prowess, but it also served as an excellent platform for them to build their confidence and stage presence. For many of them, this event marked their first experience performing in front of a live audience, and their courage and talent truly shone through.

The success of this event would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of our music teachers and College staff, who have continuously nurtured the musical talents of our students. Their commitment to fostering a love for music among the students is evident in the outstanding performances we witnessed.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this event a resounding success, from the performers and teachers to the supportive parents and enthusiastic audience members. Your encouragement and support are instrumental in enriching the arts and cultural experiences at our school.

As we reflect on the enchanting melodies and spirited performances, we look forward to more such opportunities to celebrate the talents of our students in the future.

We are particularly looking forward to our Primary School Production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat on September 13 and 14. The students have been enthusiastically rehearsing and are looking forward to their performances. Tickets are on sale via TryBooking: https://www.trybooking.com/CKLLT.
