PREPS IN PYJAMAS 2019
On Tuesday 26th March we had our Prep Family Faith night for the Prep children and their families. Our Preps arrived in their pyjamas which was a highlight for them. Our focus for the night was Prayer and the children’s friendship with God. The children have been learning about Prayer and how they can pray for different people in their family, community and world.
We thank Fr Terry for sharing his wisdom with our students and parents about what God looks like, feels like and sounds like in the world of our Prep students.
We would like to thank our Prep Teachers, Jeanine Sutherland, Angela Scarcella and Claire Wilson along with our support staff, for planning, preparing and implementing such a beautiful evening for our Prep families.

CONFIRMATION
The dates for the Sacrament of Confirmation will occur on August 22, 23 and 24. The planning and preparation for this celebration has already begun across the two schools and parish. Please note that we will be using trybooking for this occasion. More information to come next term.
PROJECT COMPASSION
The Theme for this year is ‘Lives change when we all give 100%’. Project Compassion is Caritas Australia's annual Lenten fundraising and awareness-raising appeal. Millions of Australians come together in solidarity with the world's poor to help end poverty, promote justice and uphold dignity. Each classroom has been given a box to collect money this year for Project Compassion.
CLASS MASSES
An important and much loved part of our RE Program at SFX has always been the Class Masses. The children enjoy being able to share this special celebration with their friends and family. Class Masses will be at 9.10am and will take place either in the classroom or the church.
Congratulations to Year 5 FG and AB for their Class Mass this week about Growing closer to God through Prayer. It is the perfect time to ask God to give us a share of His goodness, reach out, fast and give alms..
We look forward to Year Five FG and AB Class Mass on April 4.
