Crazy Hair Day

On a sunny 12th June (thankfully the rain stayed away) the SRC organised a fundraiser to help raise money for Cystic Fibrosis by having Crazy Hair Day. We had washable sprays to spray the hair of students (and some willing teachers) who wanted to help contribute to this worthy organisation.

We also had a giant food stall of goodies that were between $0.50 - $2.00. There were many different types of baked goods such as brownies, cookies, cakes and lots more, kindly made by the SRC team. People came by to get their hair sprayed in many different colours. The music was playing loudly (thank you Mr Petersen) and there was a rainbow of coloured hair from reds, oranges, gold, silver, purple and blue.

We raised about $220.00, which was great. A big thank you to everyone who supported this activity. We hope to plan many more for the rest of the year.
