Bastille Day Festival at GEC

As usual, we had a fun day celebrating the 14th July at GEC.

Crepes for Change came to the school and students enjoyed delicious crepes while making a difference. All the profit goes to eliminating youth homelessness in Victoria.

French Model United Nations

We are very proud of our students from Year 10, 11 and 12 who participated in the French Model United Nations this year. They confidently represented Vanuatu, United Kingdom and Republique Centrafricaine and debated on the topic of Refugees , a Humanitarian Crisis in French!

Bastille Day Festival - 14th July

Our Year 12 students did not hesitate for a second when I told them to perform a French dance at the Bastille Day Festival on a Saturday morning over the holidays!! They have been choreographing a French dance every year since they are in Year 7!

They are true GEC Languages Ambassadors! You've made Glen Eira College very proud!!

The French music band "Les Moustachus" have been working hard in the last three months to bring the Bastille Day's audience their rendition of the French classic " Ensemble" by Jean-Jacques Goldman. When the day came, during the holidays, parents and audience members were delighted to hear the song and many praised the band. Be sure to see the band next time!"
