The annual VET Awards were held on 9 December. This year due to COVID restrictions the ceremony was a virtual event. Melton SC congratulates the following students:

Most WEC VET programs are at capacity for 2021. The Careers Team will continue to advise students on waiting lists if a place becomes available early Term 1. Students will receive an Information Sheet when school resumes with all their class details.
A reminder that if students have not watched the Orientation Presentation for their VET program this can be located at:https://www.wec.vic.edu.au/2021-students
Students who have not already created a Unique Student Identification (USI) number are asked to visit the Careers Room when school resumes with a photo of their Medicare Card. This USI number is required for students to enrol with the TAFE provider of their VET program.
ATAR results will be available to students on 30 December from 7.00am.
How to access VCE results online:
To view results online, students MUST register at this link ASAP at resultsandatar.vic.edu.au using the instructions provided there.
Note: The Results and ATAR service login details are different from student’s VTAC ID and PIN. Students will create these when they register.
VCE students can also access their ATAR in their VTAC account.
Year 12 VTAC Change of Preference Appointments
The Careers Team will be available for Change of Preference appointments on 30 December from 8.40am - 12.00pm in the library. Please contact the Careers Room on 9743 3322 if you are not sure of your appointment time.
The Careers Team are also pleased to announce that CEAV (Career Education Association of Victoria) are also offering a limited support service for Year 12 students during the VTAC Change of Preference period immediately following the release of results.This service is only for the Change of Preference period 30-31 December, 2020 and 2-3 January, 2021. This support is free and will be provided over ZOOM or telephone. Students can book an appointment via the CEAV website 2020 Change of Preference
Congratulations to the following students who have received financial assistance for their secondary education or tertiary studies from Western Chances. To be eligible students have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership and/or artist talents.

There will be a Parent Information Night for Work Experience – currently scheduled for Tuesday, 23 February. Details will be available when school resumes.
