CHLOE APPS RECEIVES VOLLEYBALL REFEREE RECOGNITION

Last month Chloe Apps of Year 11 received the following two volleyball refereeing awards.

The Volleyball Australia Referee Award was conferred at the Australian Youth Volleyball Championships 2023. Volleyball Australia has now supported an upgrade to Level 3 International Indoor Referee based on Chloe’s performance at the AYVC.

The Volleyball Victoria State League Referee Development Award 2023 was also presented at the Volleyball Victoria Presentation Night.

Refereeing in sport provides young people an opportunity to fully comprehend and implement the rules of the game and is a great tool for personal development. Refereeing also encourages leadership, fair play and accountability.
