WHAT IS ‘KOOL SKOOLS’?

Kool Skools is a student-led Recording, Songwriting and Multimedia Project that promotes, develops and supports a diverse range of talent and all genres of contemporary music writing and performance.

WHAT'S INVOLVED?

Student led. 12 songs (minimum 50% originals plus cover songs). 2 days in a Professional Recording Studio. Album cover design. Professional band/artist photo shoot. Music video. Press release. Awards Night. Amazing experience!!!

Year 9 & 10 MUSIC CONCERTS:

The Year 9 & 10 Music Performance and VCE Music Performance students will be performing their Solo and Group Programs during Week 7 in The Space.

Please come along to support our wonderful music students and see the amazing progress that they’ve made in Music this semester!

INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC CLOSED STUDIOS:

The CHS Instrumental Music Team were excited to be able to hold Closed Studio sessions for their Instrumental Music students once again this year!

The Closed Studios provide an informal setting for every students to perform, regardless of their experience or how long they've been learning their instrument. This help to build a culture of community amongst our IM students and also provides an opportunity for students to celebrate each others achievements!

Thank you to all students who attended and performed - it was really wonderful to see everyone getting involved and supporting each other so beautifully! Finally, a HUGE thank you to our wonderful Instrumental Music Team for working tirelessly with their students to prepare them for such opportunities!

We're looking forward to being able to invite families and friends to our Open Studios, which will take place in Term 4.
