Principal Report
Well, we are getting very close to all being back at school, with this week being the last week where students will be remote learning by year levels. We are really looking forward to having all of our students back at school at the same time.
It has been great to see how our students haven’t missed a beat when they have returned to school. Students have been so happy to be back, with a real buzz of excitement in the classrooms. When I have visited classrooms the students have been engaged in their learning and there have been smiles all around.
As we near the end of this phase of the COVID experience, I would like to thank all of our staff, students and families for how well you have done. It is a real credit to your resilience, optimism, patience, kindness and positivity – the values that have got us through this strange and uncertain period of time.
As the term progresses Oatlands PS will be able to get back into some of our regular end of year activities, with 2022 looking like a more normal year. I hope your families will get a chance to enjoy time out and about, now that limits are decreasing and freedoms are increasing.
Regards,
Wes Holloway
