AFLQ Cup State Championships
Saints senior AFL team travelled to Maroochydore last Friday to participate in the AFLQ Cup State Championships. They successfully played off for third position, defeating Nudgee College.
JSS
Saints played the last round of the regular season in JSS against Peace Lutheran College this week. Our teams entered the round looking to find some form and build momentum heading into their finals campaign. Saints earned victories in AFL (63-9), football (4-0), touch (15-2) and volleyball (2-0). Unfortunately, our basketball team went down 72-56 in a tough encounter. All Saints teams have qualified for the semi-finals, scheduled for next week. Good luck to all our players and coaches in the finals campaign.
Peninsula Trials Procedure
Students must present a completed Peninsula Permissions booklet, signed by Mr Seivers, to attend TCC and Peninsula trials. Any student who is missing school for trials must email sac.absences@cns.catholic.edu.au to advise of his absence.

By Kristie Pittorino
Brody Bakurski and Samson Pittorino competed at the U12s State Titles for cricket in Rockhampton last week. Both boys had a great competition and enjoyed playing against such quality players. Unfortunately of the five days scheduled for play only 2.5 days were played due to rain.
Thankfully they could play the FNQ derby against Northern (Townsville) and came away with the win and the shield, which has not been won by Peninsula for seven years.
