Our early years program for Birth to 5 year olds with a parent or carer

In 2021 JPII thoroughly enjoyed a very successful Setup for Success Program which we held on a Friday morning in our Early Learning Centre. Families from all across the Clarence Municipality attended this free program offered during school terms. Setup for Success provides an engaging, creative and developmental experience to children from birth to 5 years (with a parent or carer) and is the perfect program to transition into Kindergarten.

 

This year we will recommence Setup in Term 2  In the meantime to help your enthusiastic little learners stay busy and your family connected to our Setup for Success team we will provide an activity for you to enjoy together right here in our fortnightly newsletter!

EDIBLE SLIME RECIPE

Preparation

 

Gather the following ingredients.

  • 1 pkg. (0.6 oz.) JELL-O Sugar Free Gelatin, any flavor
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • ½ cup hot water

Instructions

  1. Combine dry gelatin mix and cornstarch in medium bowl.
  2. Add hot water; stir, then knead with hands until mixture is pliable and resembles consistency of slime.
  3. You can now play and eat your slime!
