Welcome to 2022

Welcome to our first newsletter.  It was slightly delayed due to COVID-19, which seems to be a force which has the capacity to touch every aspect of one’s life.  Despite the challenges of 2022, we have made an excellent start to the school year.  Students have returned settled and enthusiastic for a year of learning.

This is an exciting year for John Paul II.  We are soon to finish our new utility shed and then we commence construction of our Performing Arts Centre.  The building will be full of opportunities for our students to grow, create and thrive.  We have also commenced planning of our new library.  Our new and experienced library staff provided very practical and helpful ideas to ensure the new library truly becomes the ‘heart of the school’.

In the area of curriculum, we have commenced implementation of our new Positive Education scope and sequence and continue to expand our literacy training and support. Our School Advisory Board met last week.  We are still after a member or two, so if you are interested in supporting the school in this way, please let me know.

Kindergarten enrolments for next year are also filling quickly which is fantastic. If you haven't yet enrolled, would like to Take a Tour or simply wish to find out more information, we welcome you to click on the button below which will take you to our website or alternatively please contact our office.
