Vacation Care and After School Care

The YNT is seeking young people to work in our vacation care program starting 27 June. Beyond the holidays, you are also welcomed to work in our After School Care programs.

You need to be reliable, active and be ready to connect with primary school aged children.

We offer ongoing paid learning and training for the right persons. You will also be qualified for a free gym membership after a three-month period.

We welcome applicants, aged 16 and over.

The Time Has Arrived – Junior Rangers in Alice Springs

Registrations for the much-loved Junior Ranger program are NOW open!

The program is for kids aged 9-12 and is run in Alice Springs at various locations. If you have friends in Katherine, the program has just opened there as well.

The program has been running for more than 30 years and aims to engage children about their local environment, make new friends and enjoy unique experiences.

Activities are hands-on and physical, so expect to get dirty!

Applications are now open and are taken via an online form at

Places are strictly limited, so we ask those wishing to enrol that they make the commitment to attend all 10 activities. Spread the word.
