SENIOR HOOP TIME
Our Grade 5/6 students took part in the senior Hoop Time competition on Friday 5th August at Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre (MSAC). To say the day was hectic would be an understatement but I am extremely thankful that our students, parents and staff are able to be flexible and make the best out of all situations!
To all parent helpers on the day, thank you. Your support was fantastic!
Sacred Heart students took to the courts and represented themselves and their school with a fun, competitive spirit.
The Sacred Heart Huskies future star team managed to get into the quarter finals, the All Star Boys Blue team got into the finals against De La Salle and our All Star Girls won their final against St Patrick's!

HOUSE ATHLETICS
Our School house athletics will take place on Tuesday 16th August @ Sandringham Athletics Track. Students participate in a variety of Athletics and Fun events to earn points for their house and we can crown a 2022 champion.
An Operoo form has been sent out with further details.
The houses are:
Marian - Blue
Nagle - Yellow
Vianney - Green
Xavier - Red
Students can represent their house by wearing their house colours on the day.
Any parents that are available to help on the day - please see me on the morning.
DENDY ATHLETICS
Any students in Grade 3-6 that wish to participate in the Dendy Athletics will need to qualify by attending the following dates for trials @ Sandringham Athletics Track (7am - 8am). Please see Operoo for further details.
Wed 17th August - 100m & Shotput
Thur 18th August - Long Jump & 800m
Fri 19th August - Triple Jump & 200m
If you wish to, but are unable to attend a trial time please contact me and we can organise an alternative option.
