Food!

Year 11 & 12 VET

Well done to our Years 11 and 12 VET Kitchen Operations Hospitality students who prepared, cooked and served a three-course meal for our whole-of-school leadership team, as part of their studies. The meal was thoroughly enjoyed by the staff who were also very impressed by the student’s professionalism, enthusiasm and talent.  The team stepped up again to cater for the School Council members on Thursday night. Thank you to our Food Studies and Hospitality teaching and support staff Anna, Jodie and Wendy who helped the students provide this wonderful experience.

Year 10 Food Creations

Our Year 10 Food Creations students showcased their cooking talents for a group of special guests last Friday 12th May. The students prepared and baked a selection of sweets and pastries for their mum's and the special women in their lives, as part of the GSSC Mother’s Day High Tea. The students hosted the event as part of a Food Creations Studies Assessment they have been working on this term.
