Careers Corner

Mrs Naomi Nolan

On Friday, 3 March, a group of 9 students from Years 10-12 attended the Careers and Learning event at the 2023 Australian International Airshow held at Avalon Airport. Presentations were given by Australian Aviation, the Australian Defence Force, RMIT University, Qantas, Boeing, and Lockheed Martin outlining some of the wide variety of career options available in the STEM field under the umbrella of the aviation industry. Following the presentations students were able to have a look at some of the many aircraft on static display, and were thrilled by the flying displays; the F22 Raptor fighter jet from the USA being a highlight for many.
