Super Series Aerobics Competition

On Saturday 28 May, the Frankston High School Aerobics Team competed in the FISAF Super Series aerobics competition. The competition was held at the Hampton Park Performing Arts Centre. Students’ have been practicing every Tuesday and Thursday morning before school during Terms 1 and 2, as well as some holiday and after-school sessions, to ready themselves for the big event.

In the Secondary Schools Solo Division, we had two competitors - Loui Mouchaileh (Year 10) and Charlotte Williams-Watt (Year 8N). Both competitors performed extremely well, with Loui taking out 3rd place and Charlotte placing closely behind him.

We also had a new team competing in the Pre-Choreographed Year 7-9 team division. This team consisted of Charlotte Williams-Watt (Year 8N), Lucy Semetas (Year 8G), Charly De Jong (Year 8G), Devika Savani (Year 7B), Imogen Seeley (Year 7A), Eloise Scott (Year 7A), Lucia Dupon (Year 7A) and Siobhan Denny (Year 7A).  Many of these students had not competed at an aerobics tournament before, which makes the teams’ 2nd placing even more exceptional.

Thank you to all the students and parents for their ongoing effort and support. We would also like to thank Tracey Speville from Aerodance Sport Aerobics for her tutelage.

We are now looking forward to the State Championships that will be held on the Saturday 23 July.
