South Side Festival 

Live performances are back!!!

Congratulations to our Junior Concert Band, Intermediate Concert Band and our Senior Jazz Ensemble who all performed at the South Side Festivals “Schools Music Day”. 

Hosted by Frankston High School in the Performing Arts Theatre (PAT), our groups joined up with the  Elizabeth Murdoch College Senior Concert Band and the McKinnon Secondary College Senior Stage Band to provide an entertaining afternoons concert. All bands sounded fantastic and it was for all of them a very welcome return to live performance after missing out for the last couple of years. 

Coming Up In Term 3 

Term 3 will be a very busy time for the Music Department as we return to our regular performance calendar.  

The Winter Concert, featuring our four concert bands and the debut of our Training Concert Band,  will be held in the PAT on the evening of Tuesday 9 August.  

The Victorian Schools Music Festival will be running again, with our:

• Senior Stage Band performing on  Friday 12 August
• Intermediate Concert Band on Friday 19 August and
• Senior Concert Band on Wednesday 24 August. 

The Small Group Concert will held in the PAT on the evening of Wednesday 31 August.

The Royal South Street Eisteddfod will also be running in Ballarat in early September. Our senior percussion ensemble, intermediate and junior clarinet groups and our senior jazz ensemble will all be performing at this event. 

End Of Year Concert

Our end of year concert will be held in the Frankston Arts Centre on Friday 21 October.
