Senior Boys Football - State Semi-finalists

The Senior Boys Football Team made the trek to Ballarat on Tuesday August 16 for the state finals. Tough conditions presented, with the cold weather, wind and rain. We played against Mildura in the quarter-final. It was very close on the scoreboard throughout, with our team prevailing by 2 points in an exciting finish.

The team then backed up straight away for the semi final against Grovedale. It was once again a tight competition, with us leading for a large period of the game. Grovedale had a very strong 4th quarter though, kicking a goal in the final minute of the match to extend their winning margin to 8 points.

We are very proud of our team for playing two full back-to-back matches in challenging conditions. In the end,  the Senior Boys finished top four in the state - What an effort!

Goals: S Tatsiokas 2, Yuusuf 1, Smith 1, Sim 1, J Trajkovski 1

Best: Green, Sankovich, Williams, O’Brien, Sim, Tier

Year 9/10 Boys Soccer - North Metro Region Champions

The team finished clearly on top of our pool, winning the three qualifying matches. The grand final match up was against Gladstone Park, with our team winning 2-0.

Noah Skenderis was the star, scoring right at the start of the game, and then again with about 2 minutes to go before the final whistle. Noah added to his already lofty tally, scoring eight goals across the four games.

The team was well drilled, conceding only one goal for the whole event. The 9/10 boys team will now play in the State Finals on Thursday September 1.
