CALD Homework Club Wins State Awards

Every Monday after school at the Goldsworthy campus, there is a CALD Homework Club for EAL students.

The club is a collaborative undertaking between Catholic Care (CC) Victoria and NBC Goldsworthy Campus.

This week, our CALD Homework Club received two state awards through the Centre for Multicultural Youth (CMY) as part of it’s Learning Beyond the Bell initiative.

Our Goldsworthy Homework Club made it to the top four of the CMY's MY Education Awards! 

Also, Paul Breed, one of the volunteers who has supported this club for many years, was this year's Outstanding Volunteer Winner-Regional/Rural Category.  Congratulations to Paul, our MEAs and all staff who support the club.

The NBCG CALD Homework Club is a valued after school support for our students and we look forward to the program continuing into the future.
