COME ONE, COME ALL TO OUR CARLSRUHE FAIR

Well, the long wait is nearly over. Our Carlsruhe Fair is only 9 days away, and boy-oh-boy are we excited. Bring your family and your friends for a day filled with fantastic food, sensational stalls and lots of live music and animal fun. But there is still so much to do. Please take the time to review the items below and see where you can help. Every little bit we do now will make the day a huge success.

GET YOUR RIDE WRISTBANDS EARLY

The cut-off to get your wristbands early ends on Monday 21st .at 10am. Head to QKRand find tickets under ‘School Events Tickets’

Wristbands will be handed out to students on Thursday 24th November and Friday 25th November afternoon between 3pm – 3:45pm on the netball court.

1 wristband = $25
2 wristband = $50
3 wristband = $70
4 wristband = $80

On the day of the fair, wristbands will cost $30 each. Individual tickets for use at the fair will also be available for purchase at $2.50 each which can be used for multiple activities and rides. Each ride will cost 2 tickets ($5).

We are also offering Pay It Forward wristbands, which can be purchased and will go to families who may not be able to afford their own. This option will also be available on Qkr. If you or your family need a Pay It Forward wristband, registration will need to be made via the following Google Form prior to Monday 21st November at 10am: https://bit.ly/PAYITFORWARDWPS

Please note:

a. If the number of Pay It Forward wristbands does not meet the number of requests, allocation will be at the discretion of the Principal.
b. If the number of Pay It Forward wristbands purchased exceeds the amount requested, the funds will be donated to the school.

MONEY ON THE DAY

Our fair will have Eftpos facilities but please also bring cash for food purchases, stalls etc.

GET BAKING FOR OUR CAKE STALL

This week the oldest child in each family has received a plate for our Carlsruhe Fair Cake Stall. We'd love your help. Please return the plate with a homemade cake, biscuit or slice for the Carlsruhe Fair either Friday 25th November at school drop off/pick up, or bring it along to the fair on Saturday 26th. We also welcome donations of hams and preserves. Don’t forget to include your ingredients list.

FASHION IN THE PADDOCKS

Time to snaz up your straw hat & get your best country fair outfit together for Carlsruhe Fair’s Fashion in the Paddocks parade. 11.30am in front of the stage. Kids & adults welcome. Prizes for effort & creativity

ELECTION DAY

Don’t forget the second biggest event on Saturday 26th November is the Election. So, why not vote early so that you can make the most of your day at the fair? And reserve that sausage purchase for us. Remember, all money raised goes towards our school.

LISTEN TO HIGHLANDS FM TO WIN

Make sure you tune in to Highlands FM on the day – a huge supporter of our Fair. They will be giving you hints and tips on how to win prizes.

SILENT AUCTION EXCITEMENT

We have some really big items up for auction this year. A pile of Wood and Woodend Produce Store Vouchers, A Wellbeing Pack including Tontine quilts and Chemist Warehouse vouchers and a BBQ pack including a substantial meat voucher, picnic rug and wine.

PLANT DONATION DROP OFF

If you have been potting up plants to donate, you can drop the off at the School on Friday 18th between 8:45am-9am and 3.20-3.45pm. Saturday 19th between 9-10am at the Carlsruhe Annexe (57 Nicholson Street, Carlsruhe). If you have any questions, please contact Eliza on 0421 505 504.

REUSE, RECYCLE

Please ensure you also bring your own water bottle on the day. There will be free drinking water available for you to fill up!
