Summer is coming!

Summer is coming!

Next term as the warmer weather approaches, and the summer uniform comes out of the wardrobe, here is a timely reminder of the Beaufort Secondary College dress code.

Girls summer uniform

  • College school Girls dress – length: mid-thigh
  • Regulation navy blue shorts – length: just above the knee
  • College white polo shirt
  • Plain white socks
  • College jumper, school rugby jumper, jacket or vest

Boys summer uniform

  • College white polo shirt OR white shirt and school tie
  • Regulation grey shorts – length: just above knee
  • Plain grey socks
  • College jumper, school rugby jumper, jacket or vest

It is the policy of Beaufort Secondary College that all students wear our school uniform. Students must wear the uniform on each school day as well as to and from school and the uniform must be presentable at all times.

By having a compulsory uniform the College aims to:

  • Encourage a sense of pride and belonging amongst our students
  • Promote a positive image of our school in the community
  • Identify our students as belonging to the College
  • Develop a mutual respect amongst students by minimising visible evidence of economic or social differences
  • Account for health and safety risk/s in student participation in curriculum activities.

It has been observed that some of our students are wearing non-regulation shorts and socks with logos. Of particular concern is the length of our female students’ shorts. Please note that they should be just above the knee.

We greatly appreciate the support of our parents in getting our students in the correct school uniform every day. If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact our School Office.
