Year 8 Summit Adventure Camp

Action-packed challenges and plenty of mud

The Year 8s went to the Summit Adventure Camp last week. There were lots of fun activities including giant swing, high ropes, rock climbing, laser tag and many more. Some crowd favourites were the amazing monster course (mud run), giant swing and the snowy river challenge. 

The monster course was filled with action packed challenges, everyone got muddy, wet, and most had a great time doing it. The giant swing was a 21-metre-high swing that you got strapped into with a partner and the rest of the team helped pull you up to the top – or however high you wanted. The snowy river challenge was a small obstacle course including a 3 metre high wall you had to help the team get over, a chain bridge over a river, and a wombat hole you crawled through.
