Principal's Report

Dear Collingwood College,

On behalf of our school Leadership Team, we would like to acknowledge the hard work of our wonderful students this term, as evidenced in the variety of celebrations of learning that have taken place this week:

Chinese Mid-Autumn Cultural Festival
Live @ Wurun musical extravaganza
Class 1/2 Main Program and Year 2 and Year 3 Steiner sleepover last night
Memorial activities in respect for Uncle Jack Charles

Not to mention the beautiful celebrations that have also taken place in previous weeks with the other cohorts.

A few important reminders as we wrap up Term 3:

City of Yarra are running a school holiday program (open to all young people aged 12 to 17 years, who live, work, study or have a strong connection to Yarra) and we encourage you to get involved. Term 4 will see the return of more sunshine, Hats are required when outdoors!
Monday 31st October is a student-free day for P-10
Thursday 24th November is a student-free day for P-12
The last day of Term 4 is Friday 16th December
Place into your calendar: Spring Revival Festival. Friday 18th November 3-6pm

Finally, I’d like to take the opportunity to thank our teachers, education support staff, administration, wellbeing team, allied health and other members of staff, along with you (the family members) for the role that you've played in supporting our students in the successes of their learning this term.
