Student Achievement

Julian in Year 10 has a passion for acting, who has seized all the opportunities offered to him.

At St James he has been involved in productions, Across the Barricades, The Wedding Singer, Alice in Wonderland (with OLSH), Repunzel, and had a role in School of Rock, which was sadly cancelled due to COVID.

Julian is graduating to Nazareth College next year, where he has just received the news that he has been selected to play the male lead, in their production of Grease.

Julian had to audition on-line for this role, and as a student new to the school, has taken a tremendous leap of courage, to embrace the opportunities offered at his new school.

To boys who may be curious about being involved in school productions, Julian’s words of encouragement are ‘I know it’s hard to face your fears, but productions are super fun and you’ll meet heaps of new people’.

Congratulations Julian in scoring the John Travolta role of Danny in Grease.
