Performing Arts Update

Year 9 Electives are in full swing, life back on campus is great for the Performing Arts.

Music students are in performance mode after completing research tasks, and mini performances are in rehearsal stages now.

Drama is currently rehearsing and producing the short play The Quest for the Stone – a story about a town effected by a curse and the four brave souls who set out on a quest for the stone.The students are completing all elements of the show both in performance and production. Performance Technology students have studied professional theatre standards in remote learning and putting skills to practice in completing lighting designs. Including rigging, setting and completing architectural grids of lighting specifications. The working performance technology classroom is a buzz of energy as you can see in our videos…

We are thrilled to see these students working through the skills developed online and look forward to welcome back our audiences both digitally in 2020 and in person in 2021.
