AN AMAZING DA VINCI DECATHLON

Yesterday, 16 students in Years 7 and 8 travelled to The University of Western Australia to represent their year level at the annual da Vinci Decathlon. Twenty eight schools from three sectors were represented at this academic competition.

Each team faced questions from 10 disciplines and the key to doing well overall was consistency. The Top 3 in each discipline were announced at the end of this fantastic yet challenging event. Congratulations to our:

YEAR 7 TEAM

• 2nd - Cartography
• 3rd - Science
• 3rd - Creative Producers

YEAR 8 TEAM

• 1st - Ideation
• 2nd - Creative Producers

We are awaiting to hear the overall placings which will be the announced over the weekend, but know that St Mary's won the Year 7 competition and Hale won the Year 8 competition.
