Welcoming the New Committee
At the AGM held on 1 March, the following committee members were elected for 2023:

I would like to welcome the new committee members and look forward to work with them and the other PFA members. On that note, we would like to thank the outgoing members Jodie and Jill for their contribution and support to PFA over the last couple of years.
Roger Page Farewell
PFA have been planning for Roger Page's farewell for a while and eventually we were able to get together on 11 Feb at Wheelers Hill Hotel for a quite celebration. It was wonderful to see close to 50 parents come in and share their best wishes with Roger. I would like to thank all parents who helped in planning the event and special mention to some of the past PFA parents for their wonderful and enthusiastic support.
Valentine’s Day Stall
This was the first of the event for 2023 by the PFA. PFA organised Valentine’s Day Stall on Wednesday 8 February and the parents had fun engaging with each other and the students. They also raised $60.
Information Session - PFA Special Event
PFA along with the school leadership team hosted an Information session on how parents can best support students with their learning. PFA would like to thank Fiona De Zylva for organising this. The NHS Alumni did a great job in the given time to cover a broad topic and connect with the parents. PFA would like to pass on our best wishes to all of them.
We also would like to thank all the parents who were able to take time and come and participate. PFA would continue to look for engaging topics and if there are topics that parents would like PFA/School to take up, please feel free to reach out to Fiona De Zylva or the PFA committee.

Meet Fu Lam, our new secretary.
Some of my key interests are Financial Planning (of course), Early-Stage Investing, and Risk Management using Options; Blockchain Technology, Mental & Spiritual Developments,
In my free time I love Gardening, Reading (Self Improvement) and Listening to Music & Podcasts.
I just joined PFA last November 2022 after my youngest daughter secured her place in Nossal. Prior to that I was an inactive PFA member when my eldest daughter was an NHS Student in 2013. I mainly decided to be more active in participating in PFA activities (if time permits) with encouragement from my wife. The current active working PFA committee members are an extremely dedicated group. I find them very supportive. I hope to see NHS PFA becoming a strong association that can contribute to the growth and development of the school's stature as one of the leading Selective Schools in Victoria, able to attract more active participants among the Parents.

Uniform Shop
Students and parents are again reminded that the Second-hand Uniform is open on the first Monday of each month, during school terms. The next uniform shop will be on Monday 1 May. The shop is located at the rear of northern (Jean Russell Centre) carpark, inside the front door of the Fitness Centre. The shop opens between 8:30am and 9:30am with all proceeds going to projects and equipment for the school. Donations of uniform are very welcome and can be left at Reception. We are also looking for donations of coat hangers. If you have any laying around, please drop it off at the reception as well.
