Mocktail Film Award 2023 – submissions now open and close 14 May 2023
Each year JMC Academy holds an exciting film and animation event; The Martini Film Awards. This event screens the best of JMC Academy's student and recent alumni work and includes a category known as the Mocktail Award. This is where High School students are also invited to submit their best short fiction, short documentary, short animation, television commercial or music video clip, to be reviewed by industry professionals. Shortlisted films will be shown and the winner will be announced at the prestigious Martini Film Awards to be held in Melbourne and Brisbane. The 2023 Mocktail Film Awards is open to all New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland based high school students who have completed a short film. JMC invites high school students to submit their short film and go into the running to win awesome prizes! Find out more here.
PSC Year 11 & 12 Photography workshops – 12 & 13 April, 11am to 2pm
During the April School Holidays, PSC will be hosting two special free photography workshops just for Year 11 & 12 students. These will be "hands-on" events in PSC’s studio for students interested in studying a creative course or considering a creative career in photography. Students can experience what it's like to study photography at PSC. Students will be able to get a practical experience and take part in a live studio shoot, with our experienced studio expert, Mark Harper and produce fantastic and creative images. Monash Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences tours – April & September school holidays
If students would like to take a closer look and see where they could be studying next year, this is their chance to visit the Monash Clayton campus. Join the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences for a tour of their facilities and study spaces. Get a feel for campus life and have a chat with faculty staff and students. If you need some course advice, MNHS staff can help with that as well. Places are limited for each campus tour and registration is essential. Register by selecting a tour date here.
Monash Campus experience events – Wednesday 19 to Thursday 20 April
Get a feel for what it's like to study at the Monash Clayton, Caulfield and Peninsula campuses. Click here to view event details for each campus and to register to attend these future student events. Staff and select faculty representatives will be available after the campus tours conclude for any more specific questions about Monash courses and on-campus accommodation.

Discover ACU Ballarat campus – Thursday 20 April, 10am to 2pm
ACU would like to invite high school students to register for their free Discover ACU events which will take place during the Term 1 school holidays. Tailored to your study area of interest, these sessions will give you an insight into life as a uni student. The Ballarat campus event has sessions available in nursing, paramedicine, physiotherapy and education, as well as student panels and campus tours. Register here.
