We Will Rock You

You got mud on your face, you big disgrace, kicking your can all over the place…

In the final weeks of the 2019 school year we held auditions for upwards of 50 students to participate in CRC Sydenham’s upcoming musical We Will Rock You. The singing, acting and dancing talents of our students blew away the audition panel and ensured a gifted cast of performers for our 2020 season of We Will Rock You. Congratulations to Jonah Wulf cast as rock rebel Galileo, Lauren Bombaci as sassy Scaramouche and Louisa Lazzoppina our villainous Killer Queen, as well as all other students in supporting and ensemble roles. Our incredible cast dedicated two days from their summer holidays to participate in musical rehearsals consisting of vocal workshops, drama exercises and the staging and blocking process. Their hard work and dedication will ensure that We Will Rock You is a rocking success! 

The musical takes place in a future age on a planet once called Earth that is now controlled by a mighty corporation...rock music is unheard and all musical instruments are banned. The hope of breaking free rests with an unlikely resistance-an alliance of rebel Bohemians.
