Student of the Month

Paul Mitsinikos (D1) - Dunlop

Paul has demonstrated an ongoing positive attitude in Homegroup. He has engaged with classroom activities and always been supportive of his peer group. He has blossomed over the summer, displaying great maturity.

Paige Bacak (T1) - Truganini

Paige is a great asset to T1 and our Truganini Cluster. In 2019, she was selected to be the 2020 Home Group leader based on her leadership and interpersonal skills. Since the start of 2020, she has been supporting her Home Group tutor, looking after the well-being of her peers in class. She has taken on this role seriously and has exceeded the expectations of her Home Group tutor.

As a student, Paige is respectful and responsible in her classes. Her Home Group tutor has received several positive comments about her good behaviour in class. Paige is also known as “Mummy” to several of her closer friends in her classes as she ensures that they are taken care of. She would check in with them to find out if they are feeling physically and emotionally okay. Paige would also buy snacks and lollies for them to cheer them up or if they have a long day ahead.

Paige is encouraged to keep up her enthusiasm and positivity throughout the year. Congratulations for being the student of the month!

Ebony Borg (C1) - Chang

This month we would like to congratulate Ebony Borg on being the student of the month for the Chang cluster for her enthusiastic contribution, active participation in home group sessions, her positive attitude and respect towards her teachers and peers. She is always willing to help and is a great role model for others.

Abbie MacGregor (B3) - Bradman

We would like to congratulate Abbie MacGregor (B3) on being named Bradman Cluster’s student of the month. Abbie is a diligent student, who works hard across all her subjects, consulting with her teachers to achieve the best possible learning outcomes. She always arrives to class on time and ready to learn. Abbie has also represented CRC this term in SACCSS Netball, demonstrating how she engages in all aspects of the CRC community. We wish Abbie all the best in her final year and look forward to seeing what she will achieve!

Jackson Bridges (M2) - MacKillop

The MacKillop Cluster’s student of the month is Jackson Bridges of M2. Jackson has demonstrated many leadership skills in the classroom as a peer, student and friend to all that are around him. Jackson has experience in the VCAL curriculum after completing a year at CRC Caroline Springs, and he has since adapted greatly into the program here at CRC Sydenham. Jackson has assisted his peers in getting their VCAL work placements organised and has been committed to the projects and activities that M2 has undertaken so far this year. Jackson has demonstrated great compassion and care for others as he continues to provide support to his peers when they need it most. Jackson has showcased all the MacKillop values such as faith, social justice and service to our community. We look forward to witnessing Jacksons’ progression throughout the remainder of the year.
