Technology Update

Term 4 wraps up an exciting year for staff and students in technology specialised subjects. Two highlights this tear were Twilight night and Technology week in term 3. This year was a success with an opportunity to speak with future students and show off some outstanding work students were presently working on.

In 2020 Computing looks forward to unravelling a new study design Applied Computing, allowing students to be innovative when creating digital solutions. VET Furnishing transfers to a different teaching location with new state of the art machinery, tools and equipment for students to learn. Food Studies teaches life skills students can take into their future endeavours. The art of cooking involves simple life skills as organisation and time management. Systems Engineering educates skills students develop and enhance in their knowledge of engineering field. Technology allows students to progress and acquire fundamental life skills beyond their years at CRC Sydenham. The technology team look forward to introducing a new year, filled with hands on teaching experiences, practical classes and relevant theory taught to tailor each individual technology specialised subject.

Each year the Technology department continues to grow at a steady rate, and we look forward to opening the new year with fresh ideas and a variety of teachings.

Thank you to all those involved in 2019 Technology and welcome to those who continue or are new in 2020.
